What started as two brothers designing lacrosse shirts for fun has turned into one of the fastest growing lacrosse apparel brands in the country. As GOOSEIT® wraps up its fifth year, we wanted to look back at the journey — from our first $1,000 in sales to 70+ events a year and a community that’s helping redefine what lacrosse clothing can be.

2017–2018: The Idea Takes Flight
Back in 2017, we were just a couple of high school lacrosse players who couldn’t find gear that matched the culture of the game we loved. Our dad taught us Adobe Illustrator, and we started designing original lacrosse apparel that looked and felt different.
By late 2018, GOOSEIT® was officially born. With just two shirts and three hat styles, we set up a small tent at a local tryout and somehow pulled in $1,000 in one weekend. At 16 and 15, we felt like millionaires.
2019: Lessons in Hard Work and Bad Weather
We decided to level up our setup with a 20x20 tent, only to learn that bigger doesn’t always mean better. At a tournament in Colorado Springs, a storm destroyed our booth overnight. It felt like the end of the world, but we bounced back and sold anyway.
That year, we did about a dozen events, but with school and sports, the brand was still a side project.
2020: Adapting to the New Normal
When COVID hit, events shut down, and that forced us to learn e-commerce. We doubled down on our website, started selling lacrosse shirts, lacrosse hoodies, and hats online, and learned what it takes to reach players nationwide. It was a tough year, but it changed everything.
2021–2022: Going All In
We made the decision to fully commit. That meant more travel, more events, and a bigger team. We downsized our setups to move faster, hit up to five tournaments in a single weekend, and built a strong crew that believed in what we were building.
We ended that stretch by getting into Sandstorm, one of the biggest lacrosse events in the world, a huge milestone for a brand that started in a high school garage.
2023: Growth, Grit, and Going Viral
In 2023, we went all in, completing 42 events in one summer. The logistics were brutal, and supplier issues hit hard, but every setback taught us something.
Then came a breakthrough. We dropped a video calling out the problems in the lacrosse market — the copycat brands and the lack of originality — and it blew up. Overnight, our Instagram jumped from 3,000 to 10,000 followers. Players resonated with our message to raise the standard for lacrosse apparel.
2024: Coast to Coast Expansion
With momentum building, we ran 72 events across the country, even opening an East Coast base in Massachusetts to make things smoother. The exposure was massive, and while profitability was tight, the mission was clear: keep building, keep learning, and keep bringing authentic lacrosse clothing to players everywhere.
What’s Next
As we move forward, our focus is shifting online and into wholesale, without losing the energy that built GOOSEIT® from the ground up. You’ll still see us at major tournaments, but the goal is smarter growth, deeper collaborations, and better gear than ever.
From the start, GOOSEIT® has never been about chasing trends. It’s about creating lacrosse clothing that players actually want to wear: lacrosse hoodies that last, lacrosse t-shirts that feel great, and designs that represent the culture we live for.
